Summer Jobs Celebration

Greater Salisbury Committee was proud to have brought a Summer Jobs Program to Salisbury Mayor Jacob Day earlier this year. Mayor Day, and the City Council, put $55k into the City budget to hire 10 students to work in the City of Salisbury, Maryland Public Works Department. GSC partnered with Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, the Donnie Williams Foundation, and Jayme Hayes and Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore to make this program a success. Today, a picnic to salute and celebrate and congratulate the students great summer on the job.
