Wicomico Public Library-a happening place

Executive Director and GSC Member Andrea Berstler recently addressed the membership about the exciting things going on at the Wicomico Public Library.  Besides contributing to the overall quality of life here, they also assist folks in finding jobs through adult literacy classes and job searching.  Their afterschool programs offer homework assistance and also provide curriculum and training for home daycare providers that can prepare children for kindergarten.   In addition to borrowing books, they offer instruction on digital tools in a comfortable safe environment.  There is a lot going on at our Library including a redesign of the atrium and entrance which will add another 950 sq.ft. of public space.
